Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

hello everyone,

If anyone can tell why am I am getting gaps in my floor and roof - would highly appreciate it. I have attached the definition, it's a little hectic but I am going with it one level and one piece at a time.

Also checked: the missing floors are seen as ground floor and the missing roofs are seen as ceilings - so how do I properly change this?

Any suggestions are welcomed.

Haven't checked your model but from your comments.

1. The floor surfaces should show as ground floor in case the z value of all the points is 0.

2. Are you having other zones on top of these zones? A roof changes to ceiling if the boundary condition is another surface and not outdoors

Not at the moment - in a later stage I will have others on top. The thing is I create the zones from breps and I think I need to explode them and define each surface - which I was really looking forward to avoid.

As i said I am working on the ground floor before i go up.

On this subject - is there a tutorial or a file on how to make an atrium?

Just make sure the Breps are modeled correctly. Check all of them to be at the same level and the surfaces are touching.

I can't remember of any but it is quite similar to creating zones next to each other except that you will have more interior windows.

Cool - Thank you so much for your support.
