Null particles in Kangaroo

Hi,

I've modelled a "fabric" mesh falling over a sphere. It generally works but some particles become null and the fabric get a "ladder". 

I've adjusted the CollideSurface stiffness and Kangaroo convergence settings but these have little or no effect. Any ideas?
