IFC Export to REVIT

Jon,

thank you for all your support and amazing work! I just installed the latest release of the GGBIM IFC interop tool between Rhino and REVIT. I just can not seem to make the Export ifc from within REVIT to work. Are there any delicate precautions that I should be taking and I am not?

Nice to hear from you.

The export "from" Revit (your thread title says to??) is still work in progress. My first priority with this tool was to provide functionality not available in the Autodesk implementation (such as structural analysis model view with loads etc so that models could be sent to ETABS, GSA etc etc) and the hope to generate higher quality files using revolutions and the like. Unfortunately the Revit API or underlying code seems to have all sorts of aspects to overcome (such as using left hand rules at times for revolutions etc) that have made progress slow work.

If you do have something not working and can share a representative file, I certainly would take a look and advise.
