generative modeling for Rhino
DIVA-for-Rhino is a plugin which runs thermal, daylight, solar radiation, and glare simulations. Our goal is to bring validated environmental simulations directly to the conceptual design environments of Rhino and Grasshopper.

Comment by Alpha222 on April 17, 2012 at 8:04pm Hi Luc ,
you should manually installed DIVA .DIVA.rhp is located at C:/DIVA folder .
Comment by Martin Dembski on March 22, 2012 at 2:44pm Strange, because then you should see the toolbar and so on.
Did you had an error while you were installing DIVA?
Comment by Luc Wilson on March 22, 2012 at 11:52am Martin,
Yes, those are the instructions that I followed.

Comment by Luc Wilson on March 21, 2012 at 2:49pm I just installed DIVA for Rhino 1.901. When I open up rhino I don't have the DIVA toolbar, and I can't find it anywhere. Also, when I run any of the DIVA commands, for example, "Metrics" I get a rhino script error: Microsoft VBScript runtime error, Type mismatch: 'info', Line: 41, Char: 16. Any advice? I have Rhino SR9.
Hi Jeff,
I have an educational version of Rhino SR9 (12-Aug-2010), and I get an error saying I need a newer version. When I click 'check for updates' the webpage states that I have the newest version.
Please advice,
Thank you very much,
Itai
Comment by Ben Silverman on February 8, 2012 at 8:47am For the daylight simulation component, I was wondering if there is anyway to change the simulation settings in grasshopper rather than doing it in Rhino. I'd like to run a simulation for radiation nodes for the summer months and then for the winter months. Ideally, I'd like to have one simulation component for each set of months, so that I can get the data for both simulations into grasshopper at the same time. Is this possible? If not, has anyone figured out any useful workarounds for this type of situation.
Thanks,
Ben
