generative modeling for Rhino

I've been playing around with the demo version of DIVA 2.0 in Grasshopper, and I have been impressed by the improvements. However, I am struggling to understand one aspect of the implementation: All of the time controls for each of the simulations are accessed by a context menu. This makes it difficult to scrub through seasonal and hourly changes, or to search for critical points (perhaps by using Galapagos). Is there a way to control the simulation using param sliders—perhaps by using the sun position module?

Also (and this may be more of a DIVA question than a DIVA-for-Grasshopper question): why is there a calculation for irradiation (Wh/M2) but not instantaneous irradiance (W/M2)?

Hi Paul,

In a recent discussion on the Diva4Rhino forums, Jeff mentioned that you can insert more than one analysis component onto the canvas. So you could potentially insert several components with different (manually inputted) seasons/ hours and scrub through each component.
