generative modeling for Rhino
I would like to ask, if it is possible to make a shortcut or a button in the context menu of a component which is already on the canvas, that shows me where I can find the component in the toolbars ahead. For example, if I make a right click on the component and select “show me where I can find you”, that Tab where it is, opens automatically or starts flashing for a second.
Well, at least I would find it very useful. I don’t know if it is possible or what the others think about that!?
Cheers,
Sebastian

hold down ctrl+shift a little blue icon will appear with an i for information. Select the component you want to locate and if it is on the toolbar it will be shown to you. Note that the grasshopper window should be as wide as possible to show all icons on the ribbon. If it is relegated to the drop down menus because of lack of space then it won't be able to show you where it is.

Thanks again for your help^^

Permalink Reply by Danny Boyes on June 15, 2012 at 5:14am Years ago it was obvious but I don't know if it's been removed as a feature in recent time. Some where there should be an edit button for the different panels on your home page.
I think there's a limit to total file sizes but as those are GHX's they are a lot bigger. I only put them there because I didn't have a memory stick when I did the course.

Also as Frenchman I can congratulate you on Groupama just crossing the finish line into Lorient to win Leg 8 of the Volvo Ocean Race and probably sealing their overall victory of the race with 2 in-ports and 1 Leg to go.
