DON'T FORGET TO SAVE AT LEAST ONCE!
_____________________
For some reason I did not follow my usual practice of saving a gh file at the very beginning of my work and carried on with an unnamed* file. Unnamed files do not get included in the Autosave feature of gh. Crazy amount of curves with alternating Alignment --> Loft equals endless processing. With a pressing matter it was a case of kill the computer and redo all the work or sit twiddling thumbs with evil eyes from boss burning into me :(.
In the end it was better to be seen feverishly working (again) than to be seen standing around drinking tea.

Thanks Danny, will do all the time from now on!
Permalink Reply by Andrew Heumann on May 4, 2012 at 7:35am I have had this happen a number of times myself. I think it would be great if GH autosaved even unsaved documents to some temp folder to prevent this kind of thing...

I concur, AutoSave needs to be seriously beefed up.

Second that! Inspiration hits and I jump into Gh and work for several hours... then blamo. all gone. It's always faster the second time.
