Waffle

Hi guys,

I have this surface and I want to make something like the waffle structure (similar to a system of shelves where people could climb it). ANyway...

I tried to find waffle examples but nothing could be applied here... It was always missing something... I tried to put a type of rectangular pipe on the edges but it is not like that, I think the waffle will be better...

Can you help me? How do I do this?
