generative modeling for Rhino
Hi all,
Today I started looking at developing code to connect GH 08.0066 (with Rhino5) with Revit Structure 2012. When I reference the assemblies in the vb component, I can succesfully load RevitAPI.dll, but there's something going wrong with the RevitAPIUI.dll.
It won't load, the error is: 'Import failed for 'C:\Program Files\Autodesk\Revit Structure 2012\Program\RevitAPIUI.dll': Could not load file or assembly 'RevitAPIUI.dll' or one of its dependencies. The specified module could not be found.'
It looks like it's looking for adui18res.dll
Any ideas what this might be? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you very much!
Jeroen

I attempted a few things to do this, and then decided on using a bridge file, IFC. Others have used spreadsheets, or programming techniques like pipes. I had a look at the forum and everyones approaches, I'm trying to write direct plugins for Revit first now to get more familiar with the API. I'll keep you posted when I have more news or questions. ;)

this is usually due to the failed language pack installation.
If you can post the Log file. (%temp% folder) for the installation, it might give us some clue on why the language pack install fails.
