Variable pipe

hi Guys, i have split a voronoi into individual cells, from then I divided the curves in order to get the starting point for arcs that I will then use to create varibale tubes, I would like the end result to be an inflated dome from a non circular base. 

my current problem is that the Vpipe command keeps multiplying the tubes in a very peculiar manner. I am not sure if it's my tree logic or what but it is driving me absolutely crazy. I don't want to have to hand pick them all out at the end because I would ideally like to repeat this logic on other cells in the Voronoi
