Please allow us to change User Objects folder and components folder (like kangaroo). Iam using Dropbox, and it would be a great advantage to have each machine running with the same plugins/user objects.

Reason I don't like to make this an option is that it then becomes very difficult for anyone else to find your folders. People who are writing installers, or who are providing support.
Another problem with this is that when you specify a folder which may not exist (and, if it's on a USB stick the entire drive may not exist) then it's not clear what needs to happen if you want to add another user object anyway.
I haven't had enough time to properly think it through, but would it make more sense to have an optional sync folder instead? So Grasshopper will always sync the contents of your standard UserObject and Component folders with some other folder to be designated by you?

Thanks for all the great work.

Some add-ons require additional dlls and licensing etc. so I doubt it will work for all of them. But some basic syncing shouldn't be too hard to do.
