Upload a .GHX file onto a Wordpress Site

I use FTP to put the .ghx file on the same server as the wordpress files and then I paste a link in the wordpress post. Example here. I usually zip the file first. /Mårten

Ditto what Marten said.

 

FileZilla is a pretty popular (and free) FTP client.  SmartFTP is another option.

You've got to locate the WordPress uploads directory on the server.  All your blog media is stored there by year and month.

how do you get the URL once you have uploaded the file onto filezilla?

All I get when i right click is an ftp address.

Copy the HTML code for a valid link.

 

Something like this...

Simply do a zip file with the ghx definition: it is perfectly accepted by Wordpress and gets the file around 1/10th of its size.
