Unroll

Hi,

Is it possible to rotate3d part of a mesh, but not the whole mesh?

For intstance I would like to rotate only part of it and align first mesh orientation with neighbour face one, and repeat the produce untill mesh is flat. Just like unroll.

Is this only possible if I explode the the whole mesh into faces. Or there is a more simple solution for this kind of rotation?
