twisted louvre envelope [similar to herzog signal box]

I'm trying to create a definition for a louvered envelope, which runs around an entire building. I think I have successfully arrayed a number of sections, around the building, which are then lofted, to create the horizontal louvres. The problem is that I can't seem to get them to orient to the normal of each face, as they go around. Help on this? 

Also, the idea, once I've succeeded in getting the sections properly oriented, is to then rotate them about the contour lines, based on bitmap images, to achieve the open/closed nature of the envelope.

you can do the following

Orient component orients the planes that the section curves will be. You have to decide how to deal with the corners.
