Trouble with "curve on surface" on a lofted surface

My first Grasshopper is killing me.

I have this this surface I have lofted through multipel curves. On this surface I want to make a diagrid structure with "curve on surface".  But the loft compoment wont work with my diagrid compoments, because if I bake the loft compoment into rhino and apply the diagrid compoments to the baked surface, it then works.

 

What am i doing wrong.

Have you tried getting your dia-grid pattern working on a simpler surface?

Thanks it still not working. And I have tried to merge the two documents without any luck.

 

I was wonering if its because it's a untrimmmed surface?

If I Bake the geometry to rhino and apply the "diagrid on surface"-difinition to the surface (a brep surface), it then works.
