generative modeling for Rhino
for the love of God what is the name of the slider that will accurately allow you to adjust the t value along a curve. Ive used it as recently as last night but cannot find it again... this is beyond annoying.

Permalink Reply by Mario L on November 18, 2011 at 11:52am note: i tired to rig a defacto version by taking the curve length multiplied by a slider value with a range of 0.0 to 1.0... lets say .57 and plugging that return into the t... to no avail

(Curve Tab -> Analysis -> Point On Curve) If you want to do the same thing with the Evaluate Curve component, right click on "C" and select reparameterize. This will redefine the curve's domain between 0 and 1.

Mario
1) Right Click the C character and scroll all the way down, you will see and option that says: Reparameterize, check that ok,
2) then, drag and drop a numeric slider and connect it to the t input. Now you can control the Eval from 0 to 1, so, 0.50 would be the center or mid point of the curve.
Hope it helps...
