Surface Division Problem

Hey Guys, I have a seriuous problem with the division of a surface. When I divide it by DivideDomain², then putting surface boxes on the parts, it looks like on the foto. But that's not, what i want. I want, that the parts are nearly equal. Why does it look so unequal? I attached an image of the tutorial, for what it should look like and two images from my definition... Thanks for your help, I really need a solution... ;)

The divisions became uneven, because so was created the base geometry (the spline points – it can be seen when you select the spline and hit F10). You can try to use an arc instead.
