generative modeling for Rhino

Hello,

I was curious if anyone had any ideas why a planar surface component with multiple surfaces within it is not returning a standard subsurface division, per the u,v points. I made a surface in rhino and plugged it into the subsurface component and it worked, but the geometry from grasshopper won't follow suit. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Aaron

Try grafting the output of the Planar surface component. This will cause rhino to get the subsurfaces of each planar surface separately. Also, just in case this was part of the confusion, the subsurface component ignores trim data, so it will give you subsurfaces that fall outside of the trim boundary of your planar surfaces.
