generative modeling for Rhino

SAP2000 plug-in for grasshopper

Hi everyone,

I wonder if anyone could help me to get a manual or more examples of how to create a structural member in ssiSAP?? to be honest I am very confused with the inputs to get the actual section of beams.

Hi Abraham,

 

It can get confusing I know (with similar components in the different plugins).  You can use the StructDrawRhino components to either define the shape dimensions or access the catalogue.

 

Then if you create a sap section property with name and material, you can create a beam.  I've attached a simple example.
