Permalink Reply by Manuel Sotomayor Millan on August 6, 2012 at 10:01am have to do it 2 times
if surface a is minimum and surface b is minimum, then surface a+b is of course minimum
Permalink Reply by bea franko on August 6, 2012 at 10:25am but they arent minimum, they are just lofted. i need a continuous surface.
thanx anyways
Permalink Reply by Vicente Soler on August 6, 2012 at 3:47pm The workflow would be something like:
- Create the base shape out of several surface patches.
- Join them together into a brep/polysurface
- Create a mesh out of the brep
- Input the mesh into Kangaroo or other plugin to relax the mesh.
The resulting geometry is a mesh object. If you really need it as nurbs surfaces there are several way you could transform it back to a brep, but the result will be several surfaces joined together, not a single one.
See the attached definition.
