REQUEST:some resources about this topic?

Does anyone know or has read such articles or maybe books which has talked about parametric approaches in the old construction techniques that have used in past times(in architecture)!!!I like to read some researches about finding the similarity between the concept of these generative tools and design designer are dealing with today and the parametric thoughts in the built building in the past!!!(its not important which historical age!!!)

It's always been, and it always will be 'consequential.' Maybe we call it 'parametric' now.

thanks Yasser!But I didnt have success in downloading the pdf from the "Cumincad" site!I signed up in the site but it still doesnt allow me to dl the Articles in the site!!!
