Grasshopper

generative modeling for Rhino

Hi,

I am currently having problems with piping my dia-grid with rectangular sections.
My aim is to create a grid shell on a planar surface with regular panel sizes.

If anyone can suggest a way in which to do this neatly that would be great :)

Cheers,

use the structdrawRhino plugin (in addins) it is really good for "piping" and structural section
hey robert,
I have downloaded that plug in..but how can use it to work out a similar issue that geroge is having?

many thanks
First thing is to make sure you have a valid license (Free license for students and free trial for everyone) so the Grasshopper commands operate.

In Rhino, run the command sdrZZLicenseRequest, if it fails to create an email to me, the text data is copied to Windows Clipboard. Paste (-V) the xml text into an email to jonm@geometrygym.com and I will send you back instructions. I will shortly be making improvements on the dialogs informing users that a trial license is required.

Let me know if you need help with the above steps.

Jon
Thanks Jon,

Will download the plug-in.

cheers,

George
