Rebuilding complex surface

We made panels in grasshopper that we would like to apply to a large (complex) surface that we designed in rhino. The panels are based on a rectangular grid system.

We tried to split the surface into smaller parts and tried to apply the panels to each part through grasshopper. But it will only work with one part at the time.

Anyone who knows how  to make it possible?
Or is there an better way to rebuild a large complex surface?
