generative modeling for Rhino

Question, random point in specific volume

Hi, I am very new to Grasshopper.

I can create random points in a specific X,Y,Z area eg. pts in -100 to 100 in all direction.

However I don't know how to do them in -100 to -50 and 50 to 100.

I am trying to avoid pts in -50 to 50. 

how to do that? thanks!

I would create two Domain Boxes one -100 to 100 and the other -50 to 50

Then populate the larger box with random points but then cull the points in the smaller box.

In this example I have used the dispatch component to illustrate this but Cull Pattern with an Inverted P input from the Inside component would be the best results, unless you intend to use the points inside the smaller box again.
