Pulling points to multiple lines, then counting them

Hello all,

I have a  network of curves and a cloud of points overlaying each other. My intention is to segment the curves and then distribute the points to the segments based on proximity. Using Pull Point, I've managed to do this, but I cannot figure out how to determine how MANY points each individual segment has collected. I'd like to thicken or color the segments based on how many points were pulled to each segment.

Pull point is the best way I have figured to distribute the points, but then I'm left with a bunch of point coordinates and line segments. Is there an easy way to find intersection between lines and points (i.e. this line intersects this many points, etc.)?

Thanks,

Shane
