algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hello people :)

I'm working on creating a shading screen for a window using islamic geometric patterns, and i faced some trouble applying that

1- I want to project the pattern on a surface(window) taking its exact dimentions (2.40m*2.80m), and with a suitable distance away from the surface of the window(25cm for instance), but when i use "map to srf" only one cell of the pattern is projected as you'll see in attached file. Tried to join the polylines to be a one object but they cannot be joined.

2- I want to loft and extrude the polylines of the pattern in order to have a suitable thickness as a screen, but the lofted surfaces become damaged sometimes and with strange segments, especially when i increase the amount of offset between the 2 polyline sets creating the pattern surface. I wonder how i can fix that.

Thanks in advance :)

Hi.

I believe you can use both "Map to Surface" or "Surface Morph". Check Attached. Best.
