Project fregmented surfaces onto a target surface

Hi guys,

I would like to ask for some help regarding the following problem:

I am trying to project a fragmented patch surface with several Hexagons onto a double curved target surface. With the component `project object onto a plane`it doesn`t work since I need a plane as reference!

Does anybody has an Idea how to solve the problem?
