I have noticed that projection works fine with surfaces made with half profile curves. I am wondering, it should be the same result if full profile curve is revolved for 180 degrees? (like in Rhino). I just want to understand logic why it can't be done.
Permalink Reply by Pieter Segeren on November 7, 2011 at 6:04am Ehm, I always use a single profile curve when revolving, I mean one that is not crossing (touching is allowed) the revolve axis.
I don't think it is good practice to use the whole curve Bojan, but I can't explain very well why this is.
