problem with vb comp

I tried to play the tutorial contained in the workshop at harvard gsd, of woojsung I followed all the steps of the first part , but using the new component vb version of gh 0.8.0066 does not work. I hope someone can be of help. I am attaching the files.

The long explanation is that there is an input that should be named "input_pt" but you made a typo and accidentally named it "imput_pt". Change the m to an n.

You misspelled input in the component parameters as imput.

Another little question for you i see two different vb component that i can use , which is the difference?

The one with the ancient looking icon uses the old Rhino SDK (Rhino_DotNET), the newer one uses RhinoCommon. It is not advised to use the old SDK unless you absolutely, positively have no other choice.
