Problem with .NET module to run grasshopper...

Hi everyone,

I was looking for an answer trying to fix my problem in all the discussions of the website's forum but I think I'm the first to have this one...

I work with the french version of Rhino 4 SR8 and I really need Grasshopper to make a project.

I have installed grasshopper_wip_20110823 and install vcredist_x86 and I tried many times to install/uninstall my .NET stuff and grasshopper but I always have the same problem.

The translation of the french message is approximately :

"there is a problem to load grasshopperplugin.rph because the module is identified as a .NET module and your computer is not compatible with .NET"

I don't know what to do so please help me !! :) thank you

Hi Pablo,

could it be that you don't have .NET 3.5 installed on your machine? If you don't know how to check this you can try installing it: http://www.microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?id=21

thanks a lot for your answer David.

It doesn't make anything, the install software of .NET 3.5 appeared for 2 seconds and nothing else...

I'm going to try to install again (again again again...) all I need (rhino, grasshopper and the .net framework x86) and i will come back to you

if someone else have an idea..

I've got the exact same problem. I tried downloading the .Net files. but my computer is a 64 bit computer (windows 7 bootcamp on mac) and the .Net files i find are only 32 bit.

sometimes my GH does work, but this happens on very rare occasions..

any idea?
