Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

these balls arrayed around this ring seem to work but when I try to do mesh union some disappear.  What am I doing wrong?

1. Do you want to union the meshes?

- you have to union first the intersecting balls ( one union for the MSphere and one union for the moved ones). The result is a new union Mesh

2. Do you want to "group" them?

- there are other ways to do this (group, merge,..)

Yes, I want to union everything...the ring and the balls, so that when I bake it to Rhino I end up with one solid.  I know I can union it in Rhino, but it should work in Grasshopper and it's about learning as much as anything.
