generative modeling for Rhino
Hi Grasshoppers!
Here is the companion you missed...
Why don't you go playing together?
See this discussion too. I think it would be possible to use kangaroo rather than galapagos with this method.
Please post works and comments.
Fred.

Permalink Reply by Jose Miguel Armijo on March 21, 2012 at 10:19am i'm working with plywood double curvature surfaces, i'm tryng to add a little material dinamics to the stripes, any thoughts?
Permalink Reply by Fred Becquelin on March 22, 2012 at 5:17am Hi Jose,
Do you mean molded plywood?
Seems a little off topic! Developable surfaces have single curvature so the whole point is to get rid of double curvature...
Daniel Piker tried to create dev surfaces through "pseudo physical material". I don't know kangaroo very well, so I can't tell you how to set it up, but I think it's the only way to do what you need. You should ask the kangaroo group.
Good luck.
