generative modeling for Rhino
Is there a way to paste grasshopper components so that they show up in the center of the current window (rather than their original coordinates in the files they were copied from)?
I guess I could understand if people actually want to copy to the exact position in another file, but my guess is that it's more likely that people would rather it get pasted to wherever they are currently looking.

Can't believe I've gone this long without it. I felt the same way about rewire.

At least Rewire is hidden, whereas Paste-In-Place and Paste-In-Center are right there in the menu below Paste itself.

There's nothing worse than wishing for something that's already there, as it highlights you are both un-original and blind :))
But you can take consolation in the fact that you are not the only one who is unaware of this (and many more features) and it might actually go someway towards bring it to their attention.
I still wake up at night in cold sweats at the thought of my first feature request being a "Panel"* to display the results of components in so that I didn't have to hover over each output node to see them. :(
*for my defense I would like to add that it was when David was calling them Post-its
