Organize Curves by direction | Kangaroo Wooly Path Duals

Hi all,

I found this video by Davideo Reeves, https://vimeo.com/20999735. Here he takes two competing curve networks and creates forces that drive them to bundle and repel a competing bundle.

I'm trying to do this with some pedestrian paths which bundle based on direction of flow and separate in order to avoid conflict.

I have my paths set up and have gotten kangaroo to work to bundle the paths. The only difficulty I am having is with organizing the curves into competing networks. Essentially I want to organize the paths as either moving away from or towards the endpoint nodes... How would i go about organizing these paths based on their vectors or direction?
