need help with a number of things for our project at pratt institute- egg crate structure

we need help with our project. we are stuck at 3 points.

1. how to join extrusions in form of small surfaces into one large surface. ( refer to image 1)

2. unable to patch/join/regionunion curves and profiles created. we need the profiles for merge with the extrusions to create edge conditions (refer to image 2 and 3)

3. creating noches for the egg crates to fit in. we created noches but they are created on smaller surfaces and one large surface. (refer image 3)

I am also attaching our rhino and grasshopper file. please help.
