generative modeling for Rhino

I'm trying to move the points of a normal grid (x/y) with a series, in order to create a 3d space
  but it doesn't work!
why?

I set the c value in the series as Cx2 to create the move on the z.
see the image.

thank you.

Hi Paul

Te reason it is not working is because you are creating more sets of z values than paths. am i right in what you want to do is this.

If so what you need to do is set the series lengh to the same as the number of points in V and the N lenght to how much you want the next point to be higher than the last.

Hope this Helps

Matt

P.s Cheeky request but can you post your questions to the discussions board and not to here so the example and samples people post on here don't get lost in questions. (It will also mean your question are likey to be answered faster.
yes, it is correct, but should be not only a diagonal, it should look like a point extrusion.
but now i start to work on your suggestion, thank you.
