algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hello everybody!

I need some help with a quite simple definition that I'm trying to do in Grasshopper.

The idea is to build a cage out of a mesh cube with subdivisions that interactuate with an atractor falling down to it when it gets closer.

I've tried many times but I fail to create the demolished structure, as I aim to generate the new points but not the new mesh that I need, and neither to mantain the distances between the new points so the structure keeps regular.

As a second step I want to adapt to that structure a special skin, but first I have to solve the main problem...

I attach here the last definition I've done.
