Makes pipes wider at some points

Hallo guys!

I have these pipes generated with simple curve -> divide -> circle -> loft steps.

How can I make some of the circles morph to bigger radius, so the size of the pipe will grow at some points. I can not figure it out, because not only one circle should grow, but the ones before and after it so the radius/pipe width will be some sort of continuous progression.

Can I make some kind of attractors, so I could manually chose these places?
