algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Looking to generate smoother mesh with mesh brep and weaverbird. What am I missing?

Hello,

I'm trying to generate a smooth mesh for printing with mesh brep and weaverbird.  My problem is that even when I add the Smooth Mesh component at the end of the definition, the output still has some blemishes.  Is there a better way for me to be creating the mesh so that it is smoother?  I've attached the definition for reference.  Thanks in advance!

Isolate the problem and post images too. This is a jungle with no explanation.

Hmm, I wrote comments in the definition as group titles, but perhaps it's not showing up on your system.  Sorry about that.  Attached is a high res image, zoomed-in view of the problematic definition area, and the mesh output viewed in Rhino with an annotation.

Most specifically, the problems with the mesh occur after performing a Solid Difference command and Mesh Brep.  I've tried smoothing the mesh after this command but the baked result still looks like the attached picture.

Should I be converting my breps to a mesh earlier in the definition and then performing boolean differences on the mesh objects?

Adding image references.

The full definition as a high res image + the .ghx again.

Hi KevinS,
you could try MeshMachine on your mesh (or surface for that matter) before using the WBMeshThicken : (you fiddle with the settings (and then press Reset !) to get it just right ;) )
