algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hello all, I'm working on Kangaroo to create an articulated surface though anchor points.  The simulation works fine creating the surface, but generating the curve connections from the surface vertex to the anchor points is proving difficult.

From what I gather Kangaroo shots out the points into a random list of points.  I've managed from other discussions to reorganize the list by decomposing the points xyz and reordering them to create the initial visual connection.  However when the points are moved all hell breaks loose.

Is there a way from organize the initial mesh to produce a more coherent list of information?

or

Instead of organizing the list though xyz, organize the list by the decompose faces of the mesh.  (However, the list is also incoherent)

Thanks,

Johnson Moc

Hello Johnson Moc

the outcome you want is to move the upper points and deform the mesh?

i opened your file and it seems to be working.

Hello Alex,

The issue i am having is creating a curve connecting the top points to the bottom points in a 90 degree + or - .  The problem is Kangaroo resulting points are in a randomized list, where creating a relationship to the top points and bottom points is a issue if the points has been move along the z axis.

I did a manual outline of what i am trying to achieve.

But i am getting this

Thanks got you help,

Johnson Moc

Ok then, if i understood correctly, why not input the lines to kangaroos geometry input too?(instead of recreating the lines from the particles output)
