HOW TO SCALE A SHAPE CURVE ON DIFFERENT ANGLES?

Hi to everyone!

I have a simple definition of a profile curve that arrays along a rail curve in the same plane.

Now I'd like to control the scale factor of that profile on different angles.

I need profiles to be proportionnaly thinner on the vertical parts of the rail curve and thicker on horizontal ones.

 

Does anybody have an idea on how to proceed?

Thank you for your help, your solution is exacltly what I was searching for.

Now I will try to make different thikness families, and use it instead to a free scale.

I will post the definition as I finished.
