generative modeling for Rhino
Hi all,
I just started to use grasshopper.Trying to make a waffle structure.
I want distance of each surface to be contoled by a circle or point,so that the central distances would be bigger than those in the end.I've tryed every logic and ilogic types to make this and no result. Also why my lines that connect planar to move are not bold but dashed.

Can someone help me please?

For the controlling of the distribution I would use [Graph Mapper], I cannot post an example at the moment but will get around to this shortly.
Secondly the dashed lines are part of the "Fancy Wire" display option. They give you a visual feed abck as to what data is being transmitted.
Single Lines = a Single item of data
Double Lines = multiple data on a single branch
Double Dashed Line = Single/Multiple data on Multiple Branches.
Orange Lines = Null or No data
If you are not sure what is meant by Branches you can read a quick explanation further down*.
Lastly, beware that you have posted this in "Errors, Bugs and Oversights" Topics posted in here might not be seen by the general populous and therefore might not be answered very quickly. If you want to move it you can click on the Options button in the top right of your original post, select Edit Discussion and then in the Category Box select Discussion.
*it is the term used to describe sections/levels/address of a data tree. For example if you have two surfaces that you want to divide into a grid of points Grasshopper would separate the output onto two branches {0;0} would contain all the points for the first surface and {0;1} for the second.
Its actually slightly more complicated because the grid of points would actually be arranged in Columns of points for each surface.
{0;0;0} srf 1 clmn 1
{0;0;1} srf 1 clmn 2
{0;0;2} srf 1 clmn 3
...
{0;1;0} srf 2 clmn 1
{0;1;1} srf 2 clmn 1
etc.
