generative modeling for Rhino
I want to extend a surface ! I want to jion two surface to one surface(not a brep).
Can you give me some tips? Thank you all.

Permalink Reply by phillip on June 20, 2012 at 3:57am If you are dealing with a planar srfs, you could join them, duplicated the edges and join the border and create a new planar srf. With more complex geometries you could try to loft isocurves or intersection lines, that you would cut an array of planes. If its a closed, this could become more complex. Also point methods could work. What do your surfaces look like?

Not sure I understand your problem, but here is a VB component for extending surfaces.
Drag and drop the file onto the canvas. You'll find the component under the Surface>Util tab.
