How to change a flat hexagonal grid's density with an attractor ?

Hi guys,

Has someone ever managed to change the density of a hexagonal flat grid in GH based on an attractor ?

I have tried jellyfish but couldn't keep the outcome flat.

Many thanks,

Arthur

I WAS LOOKING FOR THAT LONG AGO, COULD NOT ACHIEVE, DEFINITIONS TOLOWER ROSE ACA, BUT DO NOT WORK, MY BATTERIES ARE ORANGES .... NOT UNDERSTAND HOW TO CONNECT

got a lot of idea in this dialogue, thank you!!

Hi guys,

I was just trying to replicate your definition for a triangular grid. However, I alsso have a hard time defining the anchor points of the grid. Can anyone offer any advice?

Moreover I get four error messages, including 'input parameter chunk is missing. archive is corrupt.' with initial file shared by Daniel.

Anyway, I attach my replication if anyone is interested in taking a look.

I managed to get the anchor boundary points by culling and convex hull commands. However now Kangaroo gives me a runtime error. Any ideas?

Hi Thanasis,

You were almost there, see comments below:

  • Always flatten the Force Objects Input.
  • The anchor points do not need to be a branched list.
  • Your anchor points need to be on the particles that are being simulated.
  • You need to define points as input to distprt the grid.

HTH,

Arthur
