How determine by which version of Grasshopper a .gh file was made?

I trying to open a particular .gh file, but when I open it, I get this message:

It seems I am using an old or new version of Grasshopper.

How can I identify by which version of Grasshopper was this .gh file made?

Thank you.

The easiest way is to use the Grasshopper File Viewer located in "C:\Program Files (x86)\Rhinoceros 4.0\Plug-ins\Grasshopper"

Thank you for the reply Danny.

Take a look at what I got when I tried to open my .gh file with Grasshopper File Viewer:

What seems to be the problem?

Is D: a memory stick?

Scratch that I can see it clearly isn't.

I think this normally occurs when the file hasn't finished writing to the storage device when it is interrupted. Most often by pulling a Memory stick out.

D: is my second partition of the hard drive.

can you post the file?

Yes. Here it is.
A couple of files can not be opened, not only this one.

Version 0.8.0050 was the big change to the file format so that would explain your predicament.

Here's what's in the File:

Thank you for the help Danny.

Any idea where I can find exactly the version 0.8.0050?

I do not want a newer one.

How come?

(Why not?)

A particular script works only with 0.8.0050.

Well I am not sure if it only works with that version, but I know I installed a newer one, and it did not work.

That's why I needed 0.8.0050.

Thank you for the help once again.

You were brilliant as usual.

And btw I learned that "How come" means "Why not". I did not know that!
Thanks again.

Yeah afterwards I realised that it wouldn't translate that well as its a bit of a quirk of the English language

BTW I opened it in version 0.8.0066
