Is it possible to have an option to toggle "Hide All Wire Display" ?
Sometimes while arranging, naming or having an aerial view of the mess ;) it helps sometimes if the wires are invisible.

Hi Mark,
there is no global switch for this, you can only change wire display on a per parameter basis.

Hiding all wires would be really helpful as it would make the display much friendlier for client presentations. Definitely on my wish list :)
Many thanks,
Arthur

I totally agree with Arthur and Mark... It would be very useful the possibility to set the visualization of the wire of a whole group and of the global project... maybe a switch in the middle mouse button's fast menu? And a "global" switch in the view menu...
Another useful thing would be the possibility of managing elements in group (adding and subracting them) without having to delete and rebuild the group (losing colour/title/annotation)...

You can add or subtract any element from a group by selecting it and right click in the group and choose Add or Remove from group.
What would be practical is to copy a Group color and past it on other Groups.

I was talking of an old lack, and in fact the newer versions of GH got a better group managing! David always a step forward!! :)
I quote half of your second sentence, according to me it would be more practical to have a "preset" of maybe 10-15 colour, in fact I set colours to group to highlight parts of the programs (input, output, etc)... So it would be pratical to have a "simplified colour swatch" which let you choose between red/green/violet/yellow quickly... Like in word for example ;)
+1 for having a wire display setting for a multiple section, i like the idea of that being accessible from the middle mouse menu, but even if it was hidden up in the edit menu i would be fine (especially if we can set a custom keyboard shortcut)...
it is alot of work if you want to move a group/block of components off to the side and hide all the wires...
thanks for all your hard work David, and for fielding all our requests and honoring so many of them!
Permalink Reply by Umberto Saggio on December 16, 2012 at 1:25pm o maybe a "wire" touch setter... so a kind of pencil, if I touch a wire with that the visibility setting change to the one selected.... so you can very fast "clean" the visualization without having a "loss" of information on the inside of groups...
