Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

I can't figure out what's going on with my definition.  I'm culling date points, I'm getting some with two and some with four.  I'm trying to make ovals, the first is ok, the rest are not connecting properly, what am I doing wrong?

I might have destroyed some of the functionality you were looking.  I don't believe I've fully understood your intentions.

thank you, I appreciate your effort.  I guess I didn't do a very good job of explaining my problem.  I'm trying to array ovals in a circle.  I want to vary their number, long and short dimensions and and distance from the center point of the array.  Your definition gives me two, almost ovals and many unnecessary circles.

It's more important, to me to know what I did wrong.  Why don't my culls yield 4 points each instead of 2 with 4 and 2 with 2

It would be helpful if you could draw a sketch and attach it. That way we would have pretty clear picture of what you need.

that's exactly what I was going for, and you did it with 10 components.  I had a huge mess that didn't work.  thank you

You do not need the second (lower) "Circle" component.
I have just saw I forgot to delete it.

thanks, it's gone.

another question,  the component labeled "bake ovals" doesn't seem to do anything.  How do I use it?

Select the component and then right-click to get the context menu.  Select Bake and then OK to bake the geometry into the Rhino drawing space.
