Bake them and export from Rhino to DXF or DWG?

this doesnt sound practical for large quantities. how can i convert surfaces to dxf or dwg with their names?

Someone might proove me wrong, but I think the biggest problem with using a geometry only file format such as dxf or dwg is that objects inside do not carry attributes such as names.

 

A quick script to export each object to it's own file with a filename derived from the object name should be easy enough, but I don't know if that helps?

remember that a rhino esr exchange platform and from the five rhino mesh import and export are in double precision.
