Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi

I am trying to get this script to work. I am a new user of grasshopper. I found this image at this site

http://matei23.wordpress.com/2009/09/25/ucmr-ada/

I tried copying the steps as I see them. But I dont know how to get the function called "Srf Fassade NORD" and the function "SEC" with two entries.

Is there some script already available which does the following?

Srf Fassade NORD is a Srf Param component that is referencing a user defined srf in Rhino. Essentially this is the surface that you are going to manipulate with GH.

SEC is a BRep/Plane Section component this can be found in the Intersection Tab Mathematical section. Alternately if you don't know where to find a component and you know the name you can use the search facility in GH. Double click the canvas and type a word into the search box. It will return all components that meet this criteria and you can generally work out what it should be. As some components display the same name check the inputs and outputs carefully.
here is a newer working definition
and a setup file
this definition is a little rough and so it uses some extra inputs as workarounds

good luck

is it possible to get the definition working in GH 0.6?
if you recreate the definition in the image above, that should work.  It was written about a year and half ago, so it should work with older versions.

Thanx!

Thank you soo much for the help...It kinda does exactly what i wanted it to! Will post an updated version soon :)
