Ghpythonlib and graft tree

Hi All,

I am wondering if anyone has had any success grafting data trees using the ghpythonlib functionality. I am having the function return the exact same tree structure rather than the grafted one, regardless of how I setup access to the input variable (item, list, tree).

My very simple script is attached, is this a known problem? I know that there are a bunch of other ways to work with data trees in python but they can be slightly tedious and I like the appeal of being able to translate grasshopper definitions to ghpython functions. However if we need to work with data structures very differently inside python then this ambition quickly evaporates!

Any knowledge welcome.

Hi Gwyll,

The issues with data trees will probably be solved in the next release of ghpython.
In the mean time manipulation could be achieved only by using Grasshopper SDK.
